Passing by

The weather was looking unpredictable this morning and it was windy.  My sister and I decided not to walk on the boardwalk today but to walk a couple of miles in her neighborhood.  This way if the skies opened up and the rain started, we wouldn't be too far away from her house.
I took photos of some of the homes and gardens as we passed by.  Truth be told. it was nice to take a break for a picture even if it was just for a few seconds.  My sister walks faster and her legs are longer than mine.  I felt like I was being left in the dust.  On the boardwalk the surface is flat and the boardwalk has more flex when you walk.  On the streets it was up and down inclines and you had to watch your footing because of the uneven surface.  I did it though.  I'm going to get great at this even if it takes a year. 
These pretty flowers were sitting on the corner of this house's property with a tired swing in the background.  I thought it looked nice.
