Lake fountain

Everyone in the house slept in this morning.  It felt good to relax.  By lunch time my husband and I decided to head over to the toy store to find something for my grandson's 7th  birthday this week.  We were successful finding something and then stopped at Starbucks for an espresso (or three) and a little bite of lunch. 

Afterwards we picked Dillon up from the house and took him over to the park for a good walk and to hopefully run into some other dogs for him to meet.  I want to socialize him as much as possible.  We had a great walk and thanks to Dillon's slow pace as he sniffed his way around the lake, I was able to take some photos.  I liked the evergreen framing the top of this photo and the fountain in the middle. 

We saw LOTS of other dogs of all shapes and sizes.  Dillon was wonderful with most of them.  He seemed to have a problem with one golden retriever for some reason.  All in all it was a successful trip.  I hope the rain holds off for a while tomorrow.  It's off to the beach for a walk weather permitting.
