Feather

Our resident wood pigeon shed one of his feathers today, and looking closely, it is rather beautiful, nice shading and I like how perfect it is.

Beautiful day, sunny and warm. The HG is enjoying himself with some garden and painting chores, and I have been busy inside, washing windows and generally housekeeping. Now I intend to have an hour on the deck with a book, before tackling some ironing. Isn't it nice to do nothing and then rest!!!
