In the Borders

Walking today with two friends. Started at Peebles, and walked up Hamilton Hill, then down to Standalane Farm and Rosetta...... then crossed over to the Venlaw and climbed Whitford Hill, returning down through the forest and back to Peebles, a ten mile walk.

Our weather promised to be fair, but we had no sunshine until we were driving home. However, it didn't rain and was good walking weather. We had a meal at the Park Hotel in Peebles to finish off our day. Great to be out once again, although I now have aching legs.
