A walk in the park

I took Dillon for a short car ride to the local park today.  I want to get him used to going for longer walks and being exposed to other dogs and people too.  He was very good although he did pull on the leash a little too hard. 

This is my first experience doing this since my other dogs were all trained to stay in the yard and didn't require as much exercise.  Dillon needs LOTS of exercise and will take off the minute he is off the leash.  For me, it's like starting from scratch and learning as much as I can about Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers. 

Dillon is passed out sleeping now after our trip to the park.  We walked around the whole lake and then some.  I'm going to sleep well tonight myself.
