Shadows

I was on duty at NT Longshaw today. It was a glorious day - wall to wall blue sky and sunshine. There were a lot of visitors as always and it was nice to see them all enjoying the sunshine. I got a chance to do a bit of birding as I was walking round the estate and was delighted to see my first Redstart and Willow Warbler of the year. No big lens though. My favourite shot of the day was the sharp shadows cast by these trees - still quite a way from bursting into leaf.
