Wisteria buds

A glorious morning in the far south east. Looks grim up north and on the West Coast and Western Isles.

Onions (red and yellow) and shallots and half the potatoes planted yesterday - Pentland Javelin and Desiree. Two bags of Charllotes to do today. And maybe some seeds. Soil very dry for the time of year.

I've been writing a page about warfare in New Zealand as part of my write up. It started almost as a way to make sense of some of the photos I took at the Auckland War Memorial and now has expanded backwards to look at the 'New Zealand' and 'Musket' wars. It's still a bit of jumble, to say the least. Putting this link up will force me to unjumble a bit of it today.
