This bird or its offspring returns each spring to nest across the road in a big clump if ivy. It's warbling song fills the air with a strange African exoticism after the long winter.
I spotted the pair of them darting about in the forsythia. It's a poor cropped down photo from twenty metres through double glazing but it's the best I could do for this lovely bird.
