Coming in to land

Catching some of the breaks of sunshine this morning, I went over to Elford Hall Gardens.  No sign of the kingfisher and I stood for quite a while, armed with my binoculars as well as my camera.  I will return.

Many of the beds are still soil dug over.  The bulbs and spring elements are in the borders as you approach.

I have always loved this clump of anemones and this morning, a friendly bee was around, resisting the blustery conditions.

Have a good Sunday
