Blowsy

Sounds crazy, but when I woke to the sound of driving rain on the windows, my first thought was my magnolia.  It's only been fully open for a couple of days, and it was having to put up with this downpour.

In the pool, swimming against the driving rain (warm water thankfully) I wondered how the magnolia was coping with stage two of the weather onslaught.

It has survived - as you can see - but it's a bit battered and overblown.

I think "blowsy" is perhaps the word..
