British Museum

In spite of the imminent rail chaos, and the ongoing problems with the underground fire in Holborn, London is looking good this Easter.

Lots and lots of Spanish visitors in particular (watching Gran Hotel has proved helpful for eavesdropping). Sun and bustle.

I found a super new Italian restaurant and then headed for the "Defining Beauty" exhibition of Greek sculpture at the British Museum. Superb. No photography allowed - but the lady on the desk did say we could sketch.

Bryn Terfel and Emma Thompson in "Sweeney Todd" tonight, power outages permitting.
