The Lost Gardens of Manchester...

The Manchester Art Gallery is doing an exhibition about the lost gardens of the city. There have been a lot including Piccadilly Gardens which remain a mess and an embarrassment to the city. The exhibition isn't quite finished yet and it is in the foyer and on the terrace outside. But what was there already looks good.

Included in the list of gardens were the Shudehill Orchards. Imagine! Orchards in Shudehill!
