STOP.....

...It's Friday!!               (sincere apologies if you have to work this weekend)

I'm relishing this Friday night.  I've just finished a big bowl of pasta, and am currently savouring a glass of Caesar Augustus (William Bros.) and oh my...when you wait all week for a decent beer it tastes great!
I bought a spinning wheel today...I knew that one day a decent wheel would come up at auction and today was the day.  I had to hang about for hours as it was at the end of the sale and I may (did) buy something else blind, sort of by mistake - an organ stool (feel free to giggle).

However..I got the wheel - so pleased.  It seems to be intact and working, whether I can get the hang of spinning is a different matter though.  D is coming over tomorrow night to check it out for me and hopefully we can have a wee play on it.
(Oh - this is Annie's Lollipop stick (Lollipop Lady), resting against the wall while she was at school assembly receiving a nice gift as a thank you for her 12 years in the job, today was her last day.  Shame, she was always happy and smiley and we all loved her!)
