An Edinburgh quickie....

This is a genuine quickie as I can't bear the thought of trying to squash this in later!

Time is running away from me again. Anyway, I had my usual wonderful breakfast (complete with haggis) before going back upstairs to catch up with a few things and wait for the rain to stop. I've been so lucky and it's only rained when I've been indoors this week.

When I did get into town, I sat in the gardens for a while and got today's picture which is the best of the bad bunch of the Scott Monument. There were a couple of jumpers from the top over the last month I have been told and one was impaled on the railings surrounding the gardens.

I didn't stay long anyway and soon headed back home via Ocean Terminal to pick up dinner where I was later collected my Lesley and Eric to go to the general knowledge quiz in Penicuik with Siobhan, Duncan and their friend Linda.
