The Eastern Fells
A glorious day out in the Eastern Fells today.
Working with client A. again we mixed some contour and relocation skills into a grand day out that took in Haweswater, Riggindale, High Street, Threshwaite Beacon, Mardale Ill Bell, Nant Bield & Small Water.
The weather was glorious and the clear air afforded us far reaching views - from each end of High Street we could make out the Solway Firth to the North and Morecambe Bay to the South. We *think* we saw the eagle (could have been a very big raven) and we know we saw both Red & Roe Deer.
So great views, great sights & great company. All in all a great day out.
