Avoch Harbour Waiting for the Eclipse

I saw it, I did, I really did. Admittedly very briefly amongst the clouds.

Typically I was looking in the wrong direction, in fact all of us (all 4 of us) were looking too far to the East, we were all thinking that was it, time to go home, then a shout went up "There, over there". We all turned round and spotted a very quick glimpse of a crescent emerging from the cloud cover. Suddenly the mood lifted, everyone smiled, SUCCESS, we had taken part in a momentous event.

Unfortunately it was all too quick to get a decent photo, not to mention that I must have had the wrong setting on the camera for such a view. But that doesn't matter,  I did see the eclipse.
