Loch Ness
Such a lovely walk from Dores, alongside the loch to the pier at Altourie. It was peaceful, the birds were singing, the dogs kept disappearing down to the shore to have a swim or a paddle. I wandered along between the trees, then went up to join the path to the jetty. I did so enjoy it.
We met, stopped and chatted to a beautiful golden retriever, collie and 2 tiny dachsunds and their owners. It was the dogs that caught my eye, such playful, friendly souls especially the retriever, who was almost white.
At the start of the walk we were entertained by these swimmers who were just getting ready for their race out to the buoys then back to the shore. Bud decided to show how much he was enjoying watching them by christening some of their clothes. I think I stopped him in time, but the owners would have been so wet anyway I don't think they would have noticed. (Hopefully!) I had forgotten that male dogs were inclined to wee on everything in sight.
We are having a lot of trouble with our router, so if I disappear for a time it is not that I have gone on strike but that we have no internet connection.
