WALKING IN THE SHADE

The heatwave seems to have sapped my energy and enthusiasm for photography! When it is cool enough to be outside I am running around like a crazy woman in and out of the sprinkler, trying to get on with the thousand tasks there are in the garden at this time of the year.

Took time off to take a walk with the Professor mid morning. Should have taken my zoom lens as the swallows were all dozily lined up on the telephone wires, just waiting for their portrait to be made. Anwyay, this is a wee shot of one of our favourite walks, which mercifully goes through a shady wood.
