SHADY WALK 2

This morning we went our other favourite shady walk, up the hill and past the wall eating tree - the subject of one of my first blips. The walk takes you through part of the Glentyan Estate and although it is a public road, there are hardly ever any cars. Like yesterday's walk, the best bit is the bench at the top of the hill.

In spite of the heat, I worked a lot of the day in the garden. The flower beds get a bit neglectedas my main interest is the veg plot, but today I did some serious weeding, to the delight of the robin and the blackies, who followed me around pecking for worms. I have about 40 cosmos plants to go in, but at the moment no space for them!
