BBQ time at Li and Matts

Was whacked after yesterday and had a solid sleep until 5am then dozed til 6am. Up, tea, porridge and then off to start early shift at 49. My intention was to finish by two as Li having a BBQ at 4pm

Amongst the many jobs left to do at 49, was to strip the woodwork. Years of paint being slapped on frames and not sanded down, don't bode well with me, so heat gun and hot temps I stripped all door frames upstairs and sanded down ready for me to paint.

Had lunch at noon, back to mine to sit in the sun with a sandwich. Allowed myself half hour lunch and a little play with my macro iPhone lens! Picked out this harlequin ladybird, half the size of my little finger nail, but brill lens got it superbly!

Back to 49 til 3, then shower and off to li's. Great BBQ there, Matt cooked fillet steak to perfection! Spoke to bro who had spent the day exploring the IOM. Mand, Liv and the crown prince turned up too. Top day, and fabulous weekend
