A gift from the Captain !

A complimentary sack of scallops was received with
surprise and delight. Capt Lewis Wilson from Annan in
Dumfriesshire and his crew had just docked against
Scarborough's West Pier to discharge their full cargo
from a five day trip direct to their hired transport to take
it to South Shields for processing. They would then be
away again with hours. Lewis was reluctant to say too
much about the standard of the cuisine aboard as the
cook was within earshot ! He did say that the money was
good but Wi Fi and SKY facilities made a difference. The
kind of difference we can only imagine through long days
and nights in all weather. Admiration could hardly be
concealed at the fortitude of such a young man to manage
this operation. Neither was he short on generosity.
