After work a little refreshment !

time. The sea is on the ebb which means higher
waves for the surfers. I am more than usually
impressed when I see them running a hundred
yards or more with their boards over their
shoulders across the sands with no regard for
the cold water which will soon seep ever upwards
through the well-named wet suits. I am told that
all is well and insulated once that layer of water
warms up. Once ! I am persuaded to believe that
this is a young person's sport and, with that, goes
thicker blood!
