Small Copper

Despite it being dangerously hot and pollen count high I set off for my lunchtime sojourn primarily to seek out the Banded Demoiselle on the River Lostock. They are out in great numbers by far too flighty for good shots. Chanced upon this Small Copper which is 1st record for Cuerden Park this year. I've beaten my nature spotting rival to it again. Great inverts these and Mrs Wild's favourite.
