Sweet cargo

We rode first in the back of a pick-up truck then in a rickety van to the town of Tuxtepec, which is an industrial city supported partly by a huge Corona beer factory and a large sugar processing plant.
Our hotel (cost less than $20 US) overlooked the same river as yesterday, although it has become wider but just as lazy. This boat went back and forth all day long to a small community on the other side. It cost 4 pesos and took about one minute! This guy was loading his pole of cotton candy to sell over there.
