Where is Everyone?

Tlacotalpan, a UNESCO World Heritage site,  was our next destination. The small colonial style buildings, complete with pillars and arches were all brightly painted, and they were in the process of restoring this church inside and out. The odd thing is that there were very few people on the streets. Quite unusual for Mexico and for a town of 9000 ! It was like someone built a town and nobody came. Or that something happened that we should know about...
