All systems go

A lovely day together, the garden is definitely coming alive, as these bright new shoots show!

Shame we couldn't make more of the lovely weather, but a busy day. We cleaned, hoovered polished youngests car within an inch of it's life. We were supposed to be selling it today, but some idiot left the side lights on overnight and drained the battery (what me, noooooo?!) so we had to call out a mechanic to jump start it, by which time we'd missed our sales slot! It's now rearranged for later this week! I did pay for it :-/

Youngests dad and grandad called to see him today whilst at ours....... They were pleasantly surprised by his eye I think, not looking too bad now, a week after his op.

Drove youngest home tonight and he's coming back later in the week so we can finish the car job!

Had a quote for a new fence today too which is going to cost a pretty penny, serves us right for having such a big garden I suppose! Hopefully that will be done in the next week or so!

It's been a bit of a "all systems go" all round today, not just in the garden :-)
