The Kingston-upon-Thames towpath

I was expecting a cloudy day today so when we woke up and saw the beautiful sunshine I decided we should go for a long walk along the towpath from Kingston-upon-Thames towards Richmond. I think many people had the same idea as it was a busy scene, with many rowers on the river and people and dogs walking along the path. We had a long walk, although did not get as far as Richmond - we will plan that for another day. Walking back again it was into the wind and it was quite breezy.

This is a view of some of the colourful river boats on the water. Murdoch enjoyed the walk too and managed to ignore the ducks and swans.

Gavin fell asleep watching the movie Mr Turner last night - it did seem unnecessarily long! I enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the film.
