A glorious spring day

Another beautiful day today - sunny, mild and very much spring rather than winter. It was a pleasure to watch Thomas' hockey match in a lighter coat and not to be shivering throughout the game. The U14A team beat their opposition by 7-0, which was an excellent result as the opposition are one of their strongest opponents and it is the first time in four years that the U14 team has beaten them, so the future looks positive for this team.

Although I took photos at the hockey, I wanted to celebrate this lovely day by getting some sunset shots. We planned to go to a high location that overlooks a valley, but we got delayed at the carwash (!) and in the end just went down the road to the river that runs through Cobham to quickly get some sunset shots before the sun set.

I am now looking forward to a lazy night at home - seafood pasta and salad and we will watch Mr Turner on Sky TV, which I am looking forward to as we never got to see it at the cinema.
