Spreo Surperbus. (Superb Starling).

We have been to Birdworld today. Lovely weather although on the chilly side, it was well worth a visit.
I took hundreds of shots and am at a loss as to which one I should blip. Well the above won the day. It is not quite as sharp as I would like because I had to take all my shots through the enclosure fencing, hence there is a darker strip to the left of the Starling in the shot.
The Superb Starling originates in Kenya and as well as being prolific in numbers, it can become very tame and very popular with tourists over there.
Birdworld is a privately run company alongside a garden centre and they have a very  large collection of rare birds all in large enclosures. They also rescue species that are near extinction to preserve them.
Some of the birds they have are Flamingos, Penguins, Great Bustards, Snowy Owls, numerous parrots, Emu's and Pelicans to name but a few.
As well as the Birdworld they also have an 'Underwater world' of rare fish and reptiles. I took many shots of the fish and reptiles a swell. I was literally spoilt for choice as to what to blip.
Birdworld is situated near Farnham Surrey,  about 30 miles from Portsmouth. Very easy to get to and would highly recommend, if you are in the area, to pay a visit.

Hope you all had a nice day.

Enjoy and take care.
