Maple Tree Moonshine.
We have had a great day today. We treated ourselves out to lunch at a pub we have not been to for a few years and we were not disappointed. Surroundings were great as we sat near a roaring log fire and the food was excellent. We think another visit is definately on the cards.
After enjoying that we went to a garden centre nearby and nosed around the plants. Bought some squirrel repellant, but some how have my doubts it will work. All in all a lovely day.
I went out very late afternoon as the sun was setting. I did take some shots of it but I was not that pleased with the results, really because I had left it to late and not being high enough to catch the best of it.
The sky was virtually cloudless and the moon was shining brightly and it was flipping cold.
On my walk back I saw the moon but wanted something to give the shot a bit of perspective. It wasn't until I got home the ideal shot came to mind as you see here.
I like the thumbnail accessory, so the picture you are expecting is not what you get!!
Enjoy and take care.
