My Eyes Are Set On You

I always check and double-check where mum is when we're out. I do it because it's my job. And because I love her so much. What if she'd get lost, what would I do? Mum says she wouldn't know what to do without me either, which is why I have to answer to Here! I do, and I find her when she hides. When she has to leave me in the house, I wait and wait. I do everything I can to keep us together.

A tiny, squeaky yellow rubber duck that has been put away for some time is now at the centre of my attention. I love carrying it around, fetching it and even sleeping with it. Ducky!
