Searching For Spring
We had inside information from our friend altopiano that the very first spring flower, a tussilago/coltsfoot, had been sighted and blipped in our immediate vicinity. Let's go look for it, said mum. Is it adventurous, said I. Possibly, said mum. Then let's do it!
Said and done. Out we went. As the location given was a little bit vague, we had a couple of places to visit. Including a Climb to a Top. To make a long story short, we didn't find it. Probably because the sun wasn't out today, so the two found flowers were closed. We found loads of snow. But two swans, northbound, and hazel catkins, count as signs of spring. Says mum.
And - our tomato seeds have sprouted!
