Between fen and mountains

North Norfolk

It was a cold but sunny morning so we set off for north Norfolk.  As the crow flies, we are about five miles from the coast but a journey of 40 miles is required to escape the Wash and find beach coastline.  The wind was an icy blast and it felt sub zero, hence the need to shelter in the dunes when not walking.  We then went on from Holme dune nature reserve to Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Market for lunch.
