Dyke maintainance

The dykes have to be constantly cleared out to enable adequate land drainage and this is a before and after shot so to speak.  The bike I blipped the other day came from the same dyke.  There is a drainage board that clears the main waterways constantly.  I got up very early this morning to start work as there is a glut and I have a lot of other things on.  I took flowers on a hospital visit today onto to find they are no longer accepted as they have been found to be carriers of infections.  I didn't know that.  C. and C. who have kindly cooked me a meal the last couple of days deservedly got them instead!
