Tree Top

Some of the grandest trees in the woods on Gillies Hill are in the area around the ruins of Polmaise Castle. This I think must be one of the biggest in terms of girth and height and it is quite difficult to get a picture of the complete tree. This is the top with some fleeting blue sky behind it.
Heavy rain has once again made some of the paths very muddy.
