Catkins

Last Spring I recall blipping a display of catkins on a tree at the top of Touchadam Craig. That tree has been much less prolific this year but today I came across a smaller tree just below the top of the hill and found this fine yellow cluster against a deep blue sky. Blue sky in between some rather wild blustery snow showers on the second day of Spring.
