Reflections, Loch Ard Forest

It was a day of dullish skies but a wonderful stillness walking in Loch Ard Forest today, resulting in some superb reflections in the waters of the loch and lochans in the area.
I was though a little concerned about some tree felling going on and hope that this is essential thinning of the forest rather than the prelude to more serious destruction. It was also not good that the delightful path skirting the loch was closed off with a notice proclaiming that the work would end by 'December 2013".... a bit overdue then?
