Travelling in Style

I nipped round to quickly see Rachel & Scarlett before we left this morning, and when I got there Scarlett was sat at the dining table having her breakfast. As I walked in, she said 'hiya Nanny' - she makes my heart melt!

We left about 11.30am and thankfully had a problem free journey and arrived home at 3.30pm, so we headed straight to the beach with the boys.

They travelled really well in their new doggy car seats and it was the first time that neither were car sick. They're nice and safe as the seats hook over the car headrest and fasten around the back of the seat, and then there's a clip that attaches to their harnesses. Both of them just curled up and slept for the whole journey and I was able to sit in the front which was a nice change. Normally I have to travel in the back with them both in my knee which gets very uncomfortable! So it was money well spent and I can definitely recommend them to anyone who's dog is car sick.

Anyway, I've unpacked, the washing machine is on and we're having an Indian takeout. The wine is poured, so I'll go and out my feet up.
