Spring has Sprung

Well it's the first day of March and officially the first day of Spring, the sun's been shining, and it's actually been very mild.

This morning I was awake early so I went on a shopping spree for my new work clothes, and now have a new 'office' wardrobe. We then saw three estate agents this morning with regards to putting the house up for sale. Fortunately none of them seemed too concerned about the state of the house, and actually said that it's better than most that have been rented out for so long - I'd hate to see the others!

Once we'd finished at the house, Alan and I went for a walk in Sankey Valley. It was lovely to see the blossom on the trees, and I liked how it was lit by the sun making it a perfect Spring blip. While walking we talked about what the different agents had said, as there was quite a difference in valuations. Anyway, we've instructed the agent we felt happiest with and who has also been recommended to us, but have chosen to advertise it at a figure in the middle of the top and bottom valuations given, so fingers crossed we get some interest. The cleaning/decorating and repair work will commence next week and the agent will explain the situation to anyone that wants to view it.

We're now at Rachel & Scott's where we've been left holding the baby - they've gone away for the night and we're home alone with Scarlett, I wonder what mischief we can get up to? My friend Alison is calling round later for an hour, so it'll be nice to see her and catch up, and then tonight we'll get a takeaway and have an early night, as somehow I think I'll be up early tomorrow morning!

Anyway, I can hear Scarlett stirring from her afternoon nap, so Nanny duties are about to commence. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
