Kirkcudbright at sunset
We had a lovely run down to Kirkcudbright and spent a bit of time taking pictures around the town as the sun was sinking behind the hills on the other side of the river.
I took so many but had to choose one, so here it is!
Walked down from our B&B to Broughton House to give my friend Nick Hoskins a good send off from his job as Head Gardener. He's retiring - and he's the same age as me! Why am I not retiring?
We met in the gallery which is lined with Hornel's paintings - I have one at home, a print unfortunately, but my favourite - 'The Coming of Spring'. This was the subject of my very first ever Blip - here.
