Waiting

Second day of moving. I'd arranged for a phone and broadband connection for the new house some six weeks ago and was told 8am-1pm today. Unfortunately I was a bit late getting to the house and - I couldn't believe it - he came at 8am and 'there was nobody in'!

So here I am back at Arduaine on Saturday, 40 minutes into the call waiting to the service provider!

I finally got my call - not only will I have to pay £50 to get the engineer out again, but it won't be until 21st March! No phone and no Broadband until then! So I'll see you all when I see you - looks like lots of visits to the library!
