Feeding out....

This is the Robertson Super Comby feed out wagon, feeding out silage in preparation of the cows going into this paddock tomorrow morning.

Silage is cut anytime from October to March, and is stored in a large pit, covered over with a polythene silage cover. On top of this cover old used vehicle tyres are placed to hold the cover down.

Cows love it - it's a great supplement feed, which we can milk off.
