Wander around Whitby

Today was an explore Whitby day...
Despite visiting with Alex a few years back, it took a little while to get my bearings & is quite different when you have 4 children with you!
A walk up the 199 steps to the church & Abbey ruins & through the age old weathered gravestones, whetted appetites for fish & chips. A 1.5 hour wait ensued which I wasn't wholly sure was worth it. It was very tasty nonetheless with 6 pretty much empty plates.
Lots of brisk sea air was had, plus in this case, wet feet too!
