Grevillea Rhyolitica
There was an absolute racket going on outside the kitchen this afternoon and when I checked I could see a host of little honey eaters going nuts in the flowering Grevillea. This one is quite different to the cream flower I blipped a couple of days ago. It's quite a brilliant deep pink shade and the flowers must be full of honey at the moment.
It was a good excuse to pull out the Tamron Macro lens and I ended up choosing this image because it shows the flower at different stages of the cycle.
