Who knows what is going on.

I don't. I'm fairly certain this is the first time the words, "ooh take my photo" have been uttered. But the impact of the amazing Art of the Brick exhibition was pretty great on us all. Quite unexpected. And all very impressive.

As was dinner in the splendidly high-up 38th floor SushiSamba restaurant. Neither food or views disappointed.

In between the two was a dip in the hotel pool and jacuzzi and an introduction to the kids of the sights and smells of Brick Lane.

So far the mini-break in our home town is certainly delivering. And my fantasy of living in a hotel is in no way diminished.
