You’ve heard this said before,
 I’m sure,
But have you ever really thought of what they say?
How on that day,

When your mom said “just one more!”

At the time you just sighed and you said, “But Mom I’m playing”

Yea you hate her, but years later when the memories are graying

You’ll look back and you’ll laugh and you’ll thank her for the photo
So that when you can’t remember there’s a reference you can go to.

To remind you how it felt, back when you were just a kid.
How you laughed, how you looked, all the crazy things you did.

So now that you’ve grown up and the good old days are blurred,
