About to Land

I can't believe I've been in Florida for 12-13 days, and I haven't featured a pelican on Blip. I want to offer my most sincere apology to the world's greatest bird.

I spent my couple hours at the water, mostly photographing one giant egret. I was directly beneath him/her, and was watching the various poses of preening. Oh...to have a neck like that, to be able to scratch everything that itches.
