Walking on Water

Or not, as the case may be:-)  He was skating on thin ice, of course, on the part-frozen surface of Forfar Loch, as were many of the birds behind him whose reflections you can just see.  We had intended to do a circuit of the loch, but the bitter cold meant we got no further than the water's edge nearest the car park!

My new best friend at Apple has arranged an appointment at the store in Edinburgh for next week, so hope they will be able to resolve the problem for me.  We're going in by bus, so at least there won't be any great expense for travel:-)  50p booking fee, that's all:-)  I'll also be able to get my free coffee and cake at John Lewis, so that's a bonus!
