Birdwatch Day

I was so busy holding binoculars in one hand and a pen in the other, that I didn't get a chance to photo any of the birds I was counting for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this morning:-)  So decided to take a blip of my make-up bag instead to remind me!

I was pleased that the three Yellowhammers came back to pay a visit during the time I was watching, but that was as interesting as it got.  The long tailed tits waited until this afternoon to appear, as did the woodpecker.  Typical! 

I forgot to take the haggis out of the freezer in time, so Burns' Day will be celebrated tomorrow chez nous.  Hope those of you who are partaking today enjoy your feast:-)
