Winter Sunrise

An early blip today as I'm not sure I'll still be standing by this evening:-) I've developed the beginnings of a cold, with a sore throat and a tickly cough, which then makes my eyes and nose run like a tap (sorry if that's too much information!) It woke me up early and I spotted this lovely sunrise when I opened the curtains.

Feeling very sorry for myself, as there were plans to meet up with a friend for lunch and a photographic exhibition today and they've had to be cancelled. I'll keep sucking the throat sweets and gargling with salt water, in the hope that I can prevent things getting any worse. I blame the aircraft travel last weekend!
